Are men more emotional than women?

By foxysteph

A recent survey by Experian suggests that women drivers are more practical new car buyers than men, putting running costs and VED into their decision making.

No surprises there then.

Foxy ladies are definitely professional shoppers and, especially when we’re talking big ticket purchases, we can be relied on to do our homework first, make a shortlist of contenders, compare the things that matter most to us and talk to others before we get to the finances. The we want a fantastic deal of course…

Speaking to women drivers as I do, on a daily basis, I’d venture that we also have safety, CO2 emissions, practicality and a female friendly car dealership on our wishlist too.

Apparently men buy on the basis of looks (described as being more emotionally involved…) and are more interested in their image, the make and its brand.

A pinch of salt needed here I suspect. Surely men can’t be as shallow as they are portrayed in this survey…?
